#ProjectProgress- Week 7

#ProjectProgress is not going well and its not for a lack of trying. Since my week 5 blog I have worked out 11 times in 14 days and I have put on weight.
I've been running 5KMs, doing workouts, ab-routines, using my Slendertone, eating better, only one take out in 3 weeks, counting calories, drinking more water, I even took a break from blogging and standing on the scales but it didn't help and I now weigh more than I did at the start of the project 7 weeks ago.
It is so fucking frustrating.
This has never happened to me before; any time in the past when I did plan of action with my calorie deficit calculation and a consistent exercise regime it worked- I could drop 10lbs in about 6-8 weeks every time, without fail. I am doing more weights sessions this time round but you'd think I'd be seeing more definition but nope- I still feel like a squidgy potato.
BUT silver lining - I am fortunate enough that my bestie (@frankiinewbs) is my BeachBody Coach and I have been torturing her with questions in order to try and get some bloody answers and understanding. So together we have devised a Plan of Action; I am a member of her Eat. Play. Slayers! and we are doing a party countdown challenge between now and Christmas which ties in perfectly with #ProjectProgress and I'm really excited.
Beachbody Clean Week
Last week I participated in BeachBody Clean Week which was a workout everyday run by Meghan Davies, now I didn't follow the eating plan (and of course, I had a burger during the week) so I didn't lose weight but what I got from it was so much more; it made me want to workout again and gave me the motivation to use our gym so for me its a massive win.
The trainer Meghan Davies even left an Insta comment on one of my pictures which was pretty amazing!
Beachbody 21 Day Fix
I have signed up for BeachBody On Demand, (which is like fitness Netflix), I've ordered my food tubs, downloaded the app and I started my workout programme. The programme I'm doing is called 21 day Fix with Autumn Calabrese (who is an absolute babe) anddddddd for the last 2 days I've gotten up at 5.30am, got my protein shake and worked out and the workout is HARD but I'm really enjoying it!
I just figured the time will pass anyway and I'm just so sick of hating how I look so I have nothing to lose. I'm also really enjoying doing my workouts in the morning which I thought I would hate - my evenings are now free, and guilt free at that if I don't work out, and I feel mentally more positive like I'm on the right path and that this will work. I've done my weigh in and measurements and I've taken my (awful) before photos and I am so excited to see my after photos and numbers. I had planned to post my before photos on 5th Nov but I'm now going to delay that until after I finish (which should be Sunday 19th Nov). There's a follow-up programme called 21 Days Extreme which would lead me right up to Christmas but lets take it one day at a time.
So all in all, still no lighter atm (ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!) but watch this space in 19 days!
