WEEK THREE RESULTS -
Total weight to lose: 9.5kg/20.9lbs
Weight lost this week: 0.4kg/0.8lbs
Total weight lost so far: 4.2kg/9.2lbs (nearly 10lbs!)
Still to lose: 5.3kg/11.7lbs

This week has been awesome for several reasons:
1. Snow (I love snow);
2. I tried on a black dress for work last Tuesday that I have been avoiding because its been too tight and uncomfortable and it went on super easily and it looks and feels much better;
3. I was able to do the whole #StrongerBySophie leg workout on Tuesday night which I couldn't finish last week; and
4. My love handles are shrinking (I hate that phrase)- they are visibly smaller and my jeans fit better
5. All I have wanted to eat since Thursday is a big fat burger and I haven't had one!
DIET
I've been doing a lot of research and for my February plan I've decided that I'm going to do Carb Cycling and follow Heidi Powell's Turbo Cycle. All of the information is on her page as linked but the breakdown looks like this:
Monday: Low carb day- 1200 Calories
Tuesday: Low carb day- 1200 Calories
Wednesday: High carb day- 1500 Calories
Thursday: Low carb day- 1200 Calories
Friday: Low carb day- 1200 Calories
Saturday: High carb day- 1500 Calories
Sunday: Reward day

4pm and
7pm

I'm still working on my menu at the minute but I'm excited, especially for 'treat Sunday'.
WORKOUT
I was able to workout 5 times last week but it was a bit out of whack- I normally, well I say normally, for the past two weeks have worked out Tuesday through to Saturday but we were home late on Thursday and then on Friday I didn't feel like it so did HIIT and Shoulders & Arms on Saturday and then did Circuits on Sunday. My weight loss has slowed down (which is grand because the initial massive loss was an unexpected surprise) but I'm noticing I have more stamina, strength and I'm starting to get a little bit of tone which is awesome. My problem area is still my stomach and the only January plan that I haven't stuck to is the 10 minute a day ab workout so I really want to focus on that for February as it will make a huge difference.

Not a crazy long blog this week but progress is progress and everyday I'm feeling healthier and happier!

Just a quick side note; this week is
Cervical Cancer Prevention Week 2018
My lovely friend Stef, who I have known for nearly 20 years, has started a blog. We went to Secondary School together and I have had so many wonderful adventures with her- from school plays, dancing competitions and music to somehow finding ourselves at week long work-shadowing with the army- she is so vibrant and special.
She was diagnosed with cervical cancer shortly after her 30th birthday. Thank God and all powers that be that she went for a smear test when she did and it was caught early. She is alive because she didnt ignore her letter and went for a 5 minutes smear test. She has written a blog about her experiences and it is well worth a read!
