January was hard going. Month one of four is DONE with a loss of 9.9lbs and some embarassing photos but its one of the only ways I can keep myself accountable!
Don't get me wrong I'm really pleased with my results and overall loss but by the last week I was just so miserable and wanted to eat EVERYTHING and really resented the fact that I couldn't. I did slip a little at the end (with bread, tiny tiny marshmallows and a 20 piece box of chicken nuggets) but I stuck to the plan 95% of the time. The only part of my original POA that I didn't do was 10 minute abs everyday and its honestly because I forgot. So it can go on February's to do list!

DIET
The plan was to have started Carb Cycling by now but we still haven't picked our evening meals yet, we've just been really busy lately! Need to get that sorted this week.
So the weekly pattern is meant to be Low, Low, High, Low, Low, High, Treat day then repeat and then book says that the fat will 'melt off' so here's hoping by the end of March that will have happened. I am so excited to be able to incorporate foods I love back into my diet and even to have a treat on a Sunday- I just need to sit down and figure out whats what!
I went out for a meal with some lovely friends on Saturday and ended up having a whole bottle of red to myself.. whoops but it was fun and lovely to see everyone. Also my red trousers below didn't fit me before Christmas #Win.
WORKOUT
I wasn't able to workout on Tuesday as I had to nip down to Ballymena so Wednesday was legs and then nothing on Thursday and Friday but then on Saturday my sister Kate and I went to Glenariff Forest for a long walk and then went to Mussenden Temple and then Portrush on Sunday so got a really good step count for the weekend .
I have really been shattered this week so finding the motivation to workout has been tough. I need to keep reminding myself that I'm only half way and I still have over 10lbs to lose and then some serious toning to do if I want to look like the picture I have in my head!
