BLOG

Not a very long blog this week as there has been very little exercise. I started my Stronger By Sophie programme again on Monday and Tuesday and then on Wednesday I slipped on melted snow on our kitchen tiles and landed on my lower back and tail bone. It was actually quite frightening because there was immediate crippling pain and I couldn't move, we nearly had to call an ambulance but Mark put me in the recovery position until I felt I could stand. So I am hoping that this Tuesday I will be able to get back to it depending on how my back is but the really frustrating thing is that that's another week lost.

But I feel like I've been quite negative over the last two weeks so here's me trying to see the silver lining and be a bit more positive;

  • Iceland- Some people will never get to go and I did get some awesome photos;

  • Kate's car breaking down- at least it happened in our drive way and not the airport so we could wait inside in the warmth;

  • Falling- at least it wasn't Mum, Dad or Mark who fell and (I think) I'm not seriously hurt.


WEIGHT LOSS

I weighed in this morning and over February, a month were I did nothing, no exercise, drank too much and travelled, I lost 0.2kg! I was expecting to have put on weight so it was a really nice surprise, even if its not a big loss. So I have another 3.8kg or 4.8kg to go (depending on where I want to finish) but I am really within my goals and I have another 7ish weeks to go. So once my back is better I am so ready to get back to it.


My progress photos are only okay this month; I have lost any sort of definition I had in my stomach but overall I think I'm smaller so its good motivation to work hard for March's photos and seeing a bigger difference, my focus this month is ab work. I haven't been doing my measurements as I go because I just keep forgetting so Ill do those at the very end in April.
