Pretty Little Potato: Bondi Sands Tan

📷: Pinterest

I love love love to have a tan but I don't tan naturally; I burn very easily, have a million freckles and am never fortunate enough to look sun kissed. Having a tan genuinely makes me feel more confident as I think I look better with it so I'm very particular about what products I use. I wasn't always as particular and now I have the horrific orange photos to laugh at but nowadays I like something a bit more subtle.

Although I love how tan makes me look, I hate the application and prepping process. I hate the stickiness, the smell and basically having to lie still all night trying to not get it on the sheets. In the past year or so I have been using products from Bondi Sands and there is a reason that it is Australia's No. 1 Tan.

Compared to other tans it smells amazing, there is still a tan smell but its not as strong and I love the coconut scent.

WHAT DO I USE?

This tan is perfect to keep on overnight and shower off in the morning. The colour is beautiful, authentic looking and compliments my freckles. Its my go to tan on a Thursday night if I'm heading out at the weekend.

This tan is perfect if you are in a rush and only have a couple of hours to spare. The colour isn't as strong as the dark above but it definitely gives a you a holiday glow- I do try to keep it on for at least 3 hours though.

I love love love this lotion when I'm on holidays. I put it on after my shower instead of aftersun and let it work its magic. On its own it doesn't really build a tan for me but its great to top up a holiday tan. Also very important it has SPF!

I made sure I never used this in the sun as I would have fried! I normally use it in the Summer, in the evening time, when its warm so my skin is thirsty after a day outside but I only use it when the suns gone in so I don't get burnt.

This mitt is amazing- I haven't used the fake tan remover but if its anything like this its well worth it. Only thing I find with my nails is that I tend to put my thumbs through the seems so I've had to sew it a couple of times, but that's more me being rough!
