Wandering Spud: Packing for Paris

Bonjour

Paris in May ummmmmmm... So It's nearly Summer but not yet so it'll be warm but not hot, but what if it is hot? Also Spring Showers- but will it be dry? Should I bring a coat? Will a coat be too heavy if it is hot? My trench coat would be perfect to fit in with the Parisian style but what if its roasting? Do I bring sun-cream or an umbrella? or both?

WHAT ON EARTH AM I GOING TO WEAR?

May is my favourite month of the year because at home, in Northern Ireland, its normally when we get the best weather so naturally a trip away in May should be perfect. Well- we went to Rome in May 2016 and it was 32° which delightful but completely unexpected, then we went to Santorini in May 2018 and it was roasting in the day but any cloud cover made the temperature drop dramatically. So I'm a little bit stumped about what to wear in Paris in may, a month meant for rainbows with all the sun and rain apparently.

Of course, I have created the most epic Paris Pinterest Board in my research and this includes cute outfits inspo but its very hard to figure out what the weather will be like but I think I have figured it out. Light Layers. Which of course meant that we had to add on a hold bag when we just had carry on luggage but it'll bee well worth it when I have the perfect outfits for all of our activities.
